Achieving LCRR compliance for the state of Indiana
When the Indiana Finance Authority and the Department of Environmental Management needed to meet new EPA Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR) requirements, they turned to 120Water. In just 15 months, Indiana built a statewide service line inventory system connecting more than 1,400 water systems through the PWS Portal and State Dashboard.

Today, IDEM can easily track submissions, identify gaps, and share data publicly with the State Transparency Dashboard – empowering faster reporting, greater visibility, and confident compliance.

## Frequently Asked Questions

### How does the 120Water State platform connect stakeholders?
120Water is the only digital water management platform that unites state agencies, water systems, and the communities you serve – all in one meaningful place. Instead of wrangling thousands of submissions in various formats, 120Water offers one connected water compliance system where all stakeholders can access data and insights.

### Can 120Water help states oversee compliance across hundreds of water systems?
Yes. Our State Dashboard is a purpose-built water management platform that shows real-time system progress, data quality, missing submissions, and areas that need extra attention across hundreds of systems. It makes oversight faster and more consistent as your department manages water regulations.

### How does the State Dashboard improve oversight?
As you develop an LCRR program, the State Dashboard centralizes submissions, flags issues, and gives compliance teams a real-time snapshot of system progress and LCRI readiness. It’s designed for efficiency and visibility, so you can spend your time where it matters most.

### Do all PWSs in a state need their own paid license?
No. In many states, PWSs can access the PWS Portal at no cost through the statewide contract – making adoption simple and standardized for many teams.

### How can I publish inventory data and progress publicly?
The 120Water State and Public Transparency Dashboard is designed to help you share real-time progress – including service line inventories, system progress, and LCRI updates – on a statewide map. This tool helps build public trust and meets transparency requirements.

### Does 120Water support statewide school and childcare (3Ts) sampling?
Absolutely. We manage enrollment, fixture mapping, facility support, kit logistics, lab coordination, and reporting. Our goal is to make statewide 3Ts and school/childcare sampling programs scalable and consistent.

### Does 120Water support states using SDWIS or Drinking Water Watch?
Yes, our platform connects to state systems for consistent submissions and cleaner data across multiple agencies.
